Impressive! I value my knives and spend over $100 on each, yet I could not trust anyone to sharpen them. I have tested various stones and an electric model, but they damaged my knives. This is impressive because arranging the angle and sharpening them was always difficult. The result is truly smooth and high quality.

Why it is worth it
-
Magnet holds the angle
The blade sticks to the angled face of the base, so it sits at the same 15° on every pass. No guessing, no wobble.
-
Coarse and fine in one
A 400 diamond disc on one end resets a dull edge; turn the roller round and the 1000 disc polishes it.
-
Walnut-tone wood
A wood-finish roller and base with steel ends that look good left out on the counter.
-
Ready to give
It comes in an orange gift box, so it is ready for Christmas, a birthday or Father’s Day.
Sharp in two minutes
The angle is the hard part. The magnet does it for you.
Most people dull their knives on a whetstone because the angle drifts. Here the base holds the blade at 15° and you just roll: a few passes on the coarse side, a few on the fine side, then the other side of the blade.

What buyers say.
Really happy with this knife sharpening tool. It’s easy to use and does a great job bringing dull knives back to a sharp edge. I noticed a big difference after just a few uses.
Fast and easy to use, small enough to fit in a kitchen drawer. Never have a dull knife again!
This puts edges on kitchen knives better than original. Take your time, let the tool do it's thing, and your knives will be scarry sharp!
Great sharpener, literally saved all of our knifes that we thought were dead!
This is super easy to use on my leather knives
Nice sharperner, two angles, like the set nice for gift. Coming with manual for the people who using first time. Small pacage and easy to use.
It works as described. Super easy to use.
Very nice. Wandering how many uses I’ll get out of it .
Awesome sharpener works as intended with a variety of knives
It's a well put knife sharpener
This rolling knife sharpener features a comfortable grip that helps provide better control while sharpening. Its compact size makes it easy to store in a kitchen drawer or cabinet. The diamond and ceramic sharpening surfaces are designed for durability and scratch resistance with proper use. The 15- and 20-degree magnetic angle options offer compatibility with different kitchen knives. The simple design makes sharpening convenient, and the overall quality and functionality provide good value for money.
This rolling knife sharpener makes it incredibly simple to maintain a razor-sharp edge on kitchen knives. The magnetic base securely holds blades at the perfect angle, removing all the guesswork traditionally required by whetstones. Its compact design and diamond/ceramic discs quickly restore dull blades with minimal effort.
This sharpener does a great job putting an edge on a blade, as long as the knife fits properly on the magnetic guide. For kitchen knives and larger blades, it works really well and is easy to use.The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that it's not ideal for smaller pocket knives or serrated blades. The system is a bit large for those applications, and getting smaller knives positioned correctly can be difficult. A smaller version designed for compact knives would be a great addition.Overall, it works as advertised and sharpens blades well, just not every type of blade equally.
Works really good. But mostly on smaller knives. Tried to sharpen my bigger kitchen knife’s and they kept popping off or turning on me. I think the magnet needs to be a bit stronger to hold the knife’s better. Would probably make it feel a lot safer too.
TL;DR It’s a good middle ground knife sharpener. This is a much smaller sharpener than the original model it’s based on but it still works well on Chef’s Knife sized knives without needing additional raising. It works fairly quickly. The sound is pretty bad - it really bothered my wife and my whetstone doesn’t.If you don’t have a whetstone and take the time to learn how to use it best this is better than a quick pull-through sharpener. It loses out for speed though to those and overall to a whetstone set. It’s a good middle ground.
I’m having trouble with this sharpener. I’ve been sharpening my European chefs knife for at least 15 minutes each side and it improved only a small amount. I’m using the 20 degree angle and I’m using the strong side and then the ceramic side just a bit.
Great if the knives you’re sharpening are wide. Not great for sharpening small or narrow blades. Attempt to use the advised raised cutting board resulted in a thin slice of rubber on the magnetic angle to get cut off. Also, not going to get you an edge that will slice paper with no effort. It will be sharp, but not that sharp.
Hard to use on pocket knives
Seems to be okay quality but I messed with it for about an hour and couldn’t get any of my knives very sharp. Sent it back and bought works sharp precision adjust which sharpens my knives razo sharp.
I'm a sucker for knife sharpeners. I've used wet stones, oil stones of all kinds, ceramic sticks, diamond encrusted sticks, motor driven belts, abrasive stones on a steel rod that slides through a metal slot, and now one of these roller units. It has limited use, and will not be something I use regularly. It does an OK job on a limited range of uses, but is not broadly useful.__ Limited range of blade sizes ___ Pocket knives such as the Victorinox and smaller Buck knives are difficult to keep in the proper position relative to the roller. They are just not "tall" enough. Kitchen knives like large choppers, cleavers, carvers are too tall. The ideal blade has a belly of 1.5" to 2".___ Limited grit ___ This product is pretty good for touch ups of blades that are not really dull. The grit is so fine it would take forever to take off any metal.
gave it a 3 star because it didnt work at all. maybe it was me. i watched several videos and read the instructions. and my knives are not sharp at all.
Was impressed right out of the box. After 8 months of use as I am a culinary teacher, I feel the diamond wheel has been lost. For the casual cook it would be a easy purchase. But in a professional situation, I would need to replace the wheel more often
Fun to use. Wish it made the knives sharper. Noticeable difference… but definitely not professional results or anywhere near.
It’s ok not real impressive
Honestly not bad for what it is, gets the job done and saves you money.
Not as advertised kinda works but nothing special. Going to.get name brand one next time
Useful but I’m not impressed with the edge it gets.
Sharpened one side of one of my knives and the magnet was being scraped off at the same time. I wouldn't waste your money, definitely not worth this price
I really wanted to like this product, It seems like a cool idea, but I don't think it does a very good job. I've tried with a few different knives and I honestly didn't notice much of a difference in sharpness compared to when I use a different knife sharpener. Additionally this sharpener makes a huge mess leaving metal filings and grit all over the place. You're definitely going to want to use this over a paper plate or something. After sharpening with this I feel like I have to wash my knives at least 2 or 3 times with soap to be sure I'm not about to add small metal filing to my food. Overall I'm disappointed and would not recommend.
It doesn't work that well.
It could be a problem between the handle and the sharpener, but I'm just not impressed by it.
Too small to sharpen my everyday knife. And not good for my deboned knife:
no es nada maravilloso como lo pintan.
This is more of a gimmick than anything. It kinda works but I had to finish my kitchen knives with a flat stone instead because they just weren’t sharp enough. Maybe it’s good for beginners
Started off well then, one week later diamond grinder is coming apart
I purchased this in December of 2024. It is now April of 2026 and I have already worn the sharpening side out. The honing side still has some life but not very much. I don't know the life expectancy of this type of knife sharpener but I'm not impressed due to this one dying after a little more than a year. When I first got it, it worked wonderfully. It does a great job out of the box but, like I said, doesn't last too long.
If you have good quality knives don't even bother. The blade material will be to hard to sharpen with this sharpener. The roller is also to small and won't be able to sharpen the entire blade of a bigger knife. I had to put the roller on a book. The magnet angle block has a coating that was rubbed off after one use. I guess if you have really cheap knives this might work great for you
The rubber on the sides breaks very fast
Absolutely a piece of garbage!! I attempted to sharpen my pocket knife with it. It actually made the blade duller. I thought maybe I was using the product incorrectly so I watched a YouTube video and perform the sharpening function as shown in the video, it made the blade even worse. I can literally run it across my hand and it will not cut my skin. Do not buy this product.
Disappointing in how the system works. It is not for larger knives, just traditional sized blades. Clever’s etc. are out of the question. If you use you tools to cut thru brown, etc and need a refresh, look elsewhere. I’ll be returning mine.
Stopped rolling freely after a few months. Can't use it anymore. Don't buy it. Spend the money for the original.
Very easy to use. Doesn't work for anything though. Followed all directions. Knife wouldn't cut through a tomato. Used my cheap old sharpener, knife sliced through the tomato easily. I tried on several knives. Same result on all.
Didn't sharpen my knives. Returned. Expensive. Might work on knives that need light sharpening.
I almost gave myself carpal tunnel just trying to sharpen one knife. I worked on it for over 10 minutes and no matter what, the opposite side of the one you just sharpened would always be slightly jagged and not smooth. Also is messy and leaves metal dust everywhere.
Worked well when i bought it.Now it Takes forever to sharpen..The 15 degrees one is uselss now
